The Caterpillar Project

One family’s journey from a conventional life to a life of sustainable abundance.

Welcome friends, we are the Bryants

We sold our life in the city to buy acreage by a State Park and build our own house and homestead. We are building completely off the grid, using solar power, well water, rainwater harvesting and living tiny in the meantime. It is our goal to keep this entire project debt free using only cash from our income building little by little.  We are learning to grow our food, forage, raise chickens and homeschool our three precious boys.  Come learn along with us!

What People Are Saying

"Great tips on living a healthy, less toxic and eco friendly lifestyle. Inspiring to say the least!"
Sara Jenne Echard
"Katie is both informative and insightful and has helped me learn new, alternative ways to live a healthy lifestyle. She's down to earth and non-judgmental, and she's always willing to answer my questions. She also encourages me to pick and choose what I can do for my family and I love her for that! Can't wait to learn more as they tackle their current project of sustainable living!"

Katie is like my soul sister, follow her and you'll find she is probably yours too. She constantly empowers me on my wellness journey, but always practices empathy and understanding for people who are just starting to add new practices to their daily life. You will feel instantly welcome here because they are people who really walk the walk with their lifestyle. They also take the time to show you real life, and not just a curated peek of the highlights! Basically, they are incredible human beings, and you are missing out if you don't follow their journey!
